The self confessed ‘bike nut’ has been riding for 18 years, owning more than 20 bikes and clocking up a staggering 100,000 miles in rides, thanks in no small part that he rides every day no matter what the weather. A passionate tourer, Dave has ridden all over the UK and Europe, partly to follow his passion for MotoGP and World Superbikes. Dave said, “People sometimes don’t understand why I love motorbikes so much, but I always say to them ‘one man’s weirdo is another man’s enthusiast!’ I love the thrill of being out on the road and see it as a great way to escape the boring routines of a normal day. I take great pride in my hobby and invite anyone who hasn’t been on a bike to give it a go!”.

His passion for motorbikes has come at a price though – £70,000 and five relationships to be exact. Hopefully being named Britain’s Biggest Bike Nut will help!

Compare The Market has proved particularly popular and is one of the main insurance comparison websites in the UK, in many cases saving consumers hundreds of pounds.
