Police in Widnes are the latest to take steps to remove the danger and nuisance caused by people riding mini motos, with zero tolerance towards the illegal use of the motorbikes.
A scrambler bike and a quad bike were seized by police after their owners were found to be riding them on roads illegally and without motorbike insurance. Police are also requesting that local residents report any illegal use of the miniature bikes.
Motorbike riders must be at least 16 years of age and hold the relevant licence and insurance, and their motorbike must pass an MOT.
